Parking is tight and non customers were taking up spaces.

This was an astounding property! It is beautiful, occupying the grounds of a closed Jesuit seminary. The gardens, water features and art works were all so well done. It is five star all the way. The rooms are nicely appointed with some of the most unique and thoughtful minibar selections I have encountered. It is very comfortable, yet very modern. We ate on the patio of Doyle’s, their Irish pub and it was warm and inviting, while the food and drink hit the spot! It is a peaceful oasis about 25 minutes from the Detroit airport and the perfect spot to stay on that last night before flying out, although you’re going to wish you had an additional day and night to relax in the tranquility it exudes. You can also feel good about staying at the St. John’s Resort as it is a Humanitarian Hotel, supporting a number of worthwhile initiatives both in the US and abroad. Until we stayed there, I had no idea. There’s also a large conference center and golf course.

The property has a great location and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful at all times.

This was a very average hotel that was not in the best location that charged me to park in their giant parking lot. Seems like a money grab.

I think it would need carpet replacement especially in the rooms.The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Very nice bed and bedsheets . Very good breakfast buffet on Sunday and excellent seafood on the menu.
